Zone ? The Ruins of Varsoon
You will be spending most of these levelfs camped out in the Ruins of Varsoon, getting deeper in if possible and focusing on clay golems. Probably the best room to camp in would be the Creator room over at [134,110], but this place is a bit mazey so try and get a map to lead you there. Better yet is to get the mod EQ2MAP, an interface modification which puts maps in for zones that donft have them supplied by SOE, and also enhances those maps and existing ones by giving clickable locations of spawns and quests and itemfs, and when you click them gives you a waypoint line similar to the one you get when on shard recoveries. The best thing about this mod is that it has been verified by Scott Hartsman, the senior producer of Everquest 2, to be totally acceptable, and he even admitted that he uses it as well, so ignore people who claim its an exploit.
Anyway, once in the Creator room you can pull to your hearts content, the best place to pull to is on the steps just to the right of where you enter from, itfs almost totally safe. I say almost, because every 10 minutes or so a golem pops over to the left and starts wandering towards the group, so be prepared for him. The other danger in this room is the Creator himself, a rare spawn. Hefs pretty powerful, and wiped my group once after mezzing our tank.
Other good places to hunt are the Clay Golem room at [160,4], where the Tempered Clay Golem can spawn, and drops the Truesilver Wand, a decent one-hand crush weapon for the level, or in the Tome of Death room at [231,53]. From this room you can pull wandering golemfs from both side, the room itself, and also pull stuff from the forge room around the long curving corridor, so youfll definately never run out of enemies here.
