Free LotRO Trick: Ransom other Players

Firstly I would like to say that I have not done this myself or intend to do it, but I have witnessed someone doing it.

Most of you have probably by now experience the joy of standing around with several other players waiting for that one quest mob to respawn and tap it first and usually never being fast enough (at least in my case).

Now if you are a hunter, you can actually put down traps where the quest mob spawn and usually tapping it before anyone else (I had this done to me a few times ).

However, I saw this one hunter take it one step further. Me and another player was waiting for a quest mob to respawn, when this hunter shows up and started doing this to us. The thing is, he kept killing the mob and wouldn't go away even after he has killed it several times. After a while he said that if we want him to let us complete the quest we will have to give him 50 copper each. I don't know how successful he was in the end since I just ran off to do another quest but I guess its one way to make a living.
