Free PotBS Exploit: Sticking current effect even though you had left the current

Assuming you know exactly how the Open Sea current works. There is an exploit to stick it on you for very long time even though you head out of the current.

The whole thing is pretty simple and you should have run into it once or twice already. Just aim the bow of your ship toward the closest direction of your destination then catch one of the current flowing toward that way and dont make a turn. I used this very often to catch the Antilles current heading directly toward Guyana through the Open Sea.
