When youfre fishing, open up your skills menu and look at your fishing skill. Pick a square to fish in and try fishing there once. If your fishing meter goes up a little that means there is a fish there. Keep fishing in that same spot untill you get a fish. Once you have gotten a fish from that square move onto a different square. You can get a fish from any square with water on it if your fishing meter goes up.
