Free WoW Guide: 10 gold / hour for rogues level 35+

Rogues have an easy time getting their Mount as from level 35 on they can do pick-pocket tours in human populated instances. It starts with the library in the Scarlet Monastery:

The strategy
- Enter the zone solo
- Stay invis and pick-pocket all the mobs in the instance
- Do not attack anything, if you get discovered, use vanish
- Do the whole tour. Once you are through with the instance, sneak back to the entrance
- Zone out, have a friend invite you to a group and zone back in. This will reset the instance and you can start again.

As you level up, you might want to switch to other SM instances and to Zul'Farrak in your mid to high 40ies. Unlike static spawns you can constantly reset instances with the help of a friend. Even though you only get small amounts of each mob, the close proximity of the them results in a high frequency.

Another benefit are the locked boxes. Pick-pocketing is by far the easiest way to increase your lock-picking skill. You will get plenty of locked boxes, together with heal potions and if you're lucky the one or other green item.
