The standard hunter sits on his frost trap and will shoot out flares constantly.

A nice trick is to charge in with sprint (try to do it from a direction he isn't facting) just until you get in range for a "blind" (the range of blind is 10 yrds, the trap has only a 5 yrd range).

Ideally, you do this a few seconds before he recasts flare. This way the blind will last longer than the flare effect and you will be able to restealth and start with your opener.

An alternative are engineering gadgets (such as mind control), but this one can be applied by every rogue.
