This is a basic overview and how-to of and for the Archlord food cooking system that gives you various buffs from various different foods you can create.
Cooking requires the skills ransacking, carving, and cooking. All of these skills become available at different levels. Ransacking I think is level 7, carving around 10, and cooking is 15. You will be notified when you level that these skills are now available to learn. Ransacking and carving are learned from the adventurer and cooking from the cook in your starter village. You have to purchase a pan to cook and a knife to ransack and carve from the grocer merchant. You must start leveling ransacking and carving early because if you don't you will find they rarely succeed if you start trying to level them on high level mobs. Cooking is leveled as you cook things.
Recipes
You learn new recipes by clicking "manufacture" at the cook. As you cook things and increase your skill level new recipes will become available and you can pay to learn them. Recipes have main components you must collect via carve and ransack, components you must by from the cook, and optional components that increase the chance of success. Example: Soup of Attack (+3 attack for 5 mins) requires 3 venison, 1 bat tooth, 1 lettuce, and the optional is alluring seasoning. Venison comes from carving deer, the bat tooth is a ransack from a bat, and you can buy lettuce and alluring seasoning at the cook.
Gathering Resources
The main components that you must gather are from animals and mobs such as deer, boars, and bats. There are different versions of these mobs at all levels from what I have seen. If you start leveling the skills soon after you get them you will have mobs to kill that give you decent XP as you gather. If you start late you will have to go back to lower mobs that give you crap XP to start leveling ransack and carve. You kill the mob and then hit your ransack or carve skill and you will fail or succeed depending on skill level and mob level.
