Having Curse of Exhaustion and Dark Pact allows you to indefinitely fear, snare, and dot a target. (Using a pet to replenish your mana) Given a free space without likely adds, you can take down elites at or just above your level easily. Without Curse of Exhaustion this is also possible, but much more risky, as the enemy has a better chance at reaching you before you can get fear off. Missing Demonic Embrace is practically a crime though, so I may decide to eventually move some points around to get it after all.
