Free WoW Trick: Exploit the experience sharing system

If you tag a monster in World of Warcraft and another player finishes it off, you do not receive full experience. The amount of experienceyouget is determined by the damage done o the next biggest damage dealer (or group) aside from your own character.

What does this mean? If you tag a mob and do 70% of the damage, and you got only one helper who does the remaining 30%, you lose 30% of the overall experience. If you have two helpers, each of them doing 15%, you lose only 15%. If you have 5helpers you lose only 6% of the overall exp. The numbers assume that everyone does the same damage. You will not only kill the mobs faster, but you will also get more experience per kill.

In other words: The more people help you (all of them need to be ungrouped) the better your experience gain. This is especially useful when taking out far higher level mobs than your own.
